Indiana girls basketball sectional semifinals roundup: Indy-area scores, highlights, stats (2023)

The Indiana high school girls basketball state tournament resumes Friday night with sectional semifinals across the state.

Fishers 67, Noblesville 64, 2OT

Hailey Smith converted a 3-point play with 24.9 seconds left in the second overtime period, then Fishers forced steals on back-to-back inbounds to knock off defending Class 4A champion Noblesville, 67-64, and advance to Saturday’s Sectional 8 championship game. Hailey finished with 15 points, while twin sister Olivia added a team-high 22.

Booker led the way with 13 points as Center Grove kept alive its hopes of the school’s first girls’ sectional crown since 2018-19.

Franklin’s win was the Cubs’ seventh straight, while Whiteland notched its first winning season since 2018-19.
